If you're coming home on Highway 58, take the Washington Ave exit and you're about two blocks away. The gym sits between downtown and the highway.

Golden Jiu Jitsu teaches through games instead of a technique of the day, and that method is the same one people drive in from Lakewood and Denver for. You get it a few minutes from home.
Games from day one
Every game has a starting position, a goal, and rules that force the skill. Beginners are playing in their first class, not sitting out.
A student rate for Mines
Students with a valid ID get their own rate. The Mines page has the details.
One gym for the whole family
Kids classes in the afternoon, adult classes at night, and each additional family member is 20% off.
Kids after school, adults after dinner
Living in town means both fit in one evening. Monday and Wednesday, a kid can be in the 4:30 Golden Tigers class and you can be back for 7:00 Fundamentals after dinner.

Each additional family member is 20% off their rate, and a household never pays more than $400 a month. Each of you gets a free first class.

Questions
Can I walk or bike to class?
Yes. From downtown it is about an 8 minute walk north on Washington Ave, and from the Mines campus about 4 minutes by bike. Both routes are flat.
Is there a student rate?
Yes, for students with a valid ID. See the Mines page or the rates page for what it includes.
Can my kid and I both try it the same day?
Yes. On Monday and Wednesday, Golden Tigers (ages 7 to 13) is at 4:30 PM and Fundamentals for adults is at 7:00 PM. Each of you gets a free first class.
What happens after the free class?
Join the same day and your first month is $99, with the Day 30 Guarantee: come to eight classes in your first 30 days, and if it's not for you, we refund your first month.
Where do I park?
The front lot at 802 Washington Ave is open to gym visitors. The covered spots belong to the building, but the bank lot next door opens up after 5 PM and has plenty of room.

Your first class is free.
$99 first month applies to new memberships started the same day as your free intro class. For kids, it applies for each child, and family plan pricing can lower the total. Not available to current members. Guarantee requires at least eight classes in your first 30 days of membership (the free intro class doesn't count), with the refund requested within those 30 days; the refund is your first month's payment, and it ends your membership. It covers the first month only: if you paid for a longer term up front, the rest of that payment is not refunded.
