From Olde Town, I-70 hands you to Highway 58 at Clear Creek Crossing, beside the Lutheran hospital. From either side, Highway 58 runs along the Coors brewery before exit 1A, Washington Ave. The gym is about two blocks from the ramp.

Every class fits a curriculum that covers the major positions, so what you learn on Tuesday connects to what you learn next week.
Concepts first
You learn why a position works, so it carries over to the next one. Not a list of moves to memorize.
Both sides of every position
Attack and escape are taught together, so you are never only good from one side.
Classes that fit an Arvada evening
Fundamentals is at 7:00 PM, Monday to Thursday. If you already train, Intermediate is at 5:30 PM, gi on Tuesday and Thursday and no-gi on Monday and Wednesday, and open mat is Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Questions
I-70 or Highway 58?
Both, usually. From Olde Town, Google sends you down Wadsworth to I-70 and onto Highway 58. From west Arvada, McIntyre St drops you straight onto 58. Both end at the Washington Ave exit. Leaving at 5 PM? Give yourself a little extra time.
I trained at another gym. Do I have to start in Fundamentals?
No. Tell the form you've been training a while and you can book Intermediate, which is for people with about a year of training. Fundamentals is all live games too, if you'd rather rebuild your basics.
Can my kid train too?
Yes. Kids classes are at 4:30 and 4:45 PM, and each additional family member is 20% off. See the Train Together page for how a family books.
What happens after the free class?
Join the same day and your first month is $99, with the Day 30 Guarantee: come to eight classes in your first 30 days, and if it's not for you, we refund your first month.
Where do I park?
The front lot at 802 Washington Ave is open to gym visitors. The covered spots belong to the building, but the bank lot next door opens up after 5 PM and has plenty of room.

$99 first month applies to new memberships started the same day as your free intro class. Not available to current members. Guarantee requires at least eight classes in your first 30 days of membership (the free intro class doesn't count), with the refund requested within those 30 days; the refund is your first month's payment, and it ends your membership. It covers the first month only: if you paid for a longer term up front, the rest of that payment is not refunded.
